Our Policies
* All advertising is subject to approval. We maintain the right to revise or reject in whole or part any advertisement which is not in the best interest of our publication or readers.
* Liability for errors in advertisements shall not exceed the cost of the advertising space. Credit for published errors in advertisements will be allowed for the first insertion only. No allowance will be made for errors not materially affecting the value of the advertisement. A letter of correction will be provided if needed. Claims for adjustments must be made within 72 hours.
* We reserve the right to revise open and contracted rates on 30 days notice to advertisers. In this event, the advertiser may, by written notice prior to the effective date of the revised rates, terminate any agreement without penalty.
* Excess alterations and ads cancelled before publication will be subject to charge. Dates and times for cancellation of ads are the same as the deadline for placing ads. Pre-booked front and/or back cover ads must be cancelled 30 days prior to deadline or will be subject to charge.
* Specific placement of an ad is subject to a placement charge of 15%.
Credit & Payment
* All advertising is on a cash with copy basis unless an approved credit application is on file with the credit department. This application may be obtained from your account representative or by calling one of our offices.
* All monthly billings are due and payable on the 18th of the month following the statement date. A charge of 1.5% per month (18% per annum) will be entered on all past due balances and will become a portion of the amount that is due.
* Pre-booked ads are subject to cancellation on past-due accounts.
* A $20.00 fee will apply for a returned check.
Agency Policy
Commissionable rates are available to any recognized advertising agency based on the following provisions:
* If agency is not owned by an advertiser
* If camera-ready art, built to size is provided with the order and is approved for print by our production department
* If agency assumes responsibility for billing and payment
* Commission will be granted if payment is received within 30 days following the date of billing.
